Restoring contacts through Samsung Cloud backup is also a very effective method, especially if you usually back up your phone data to Samsung Cloud regularly. This method is safer and does not require additional tools. You can operate it directly on your phone.
Operation steps:
- Open your Samsung phone, go to Settings, and then find the "Accounts and backup" option.
- Enter Samsung Cloud:
- In "Accounts and backup", select "Samsung Cloud". This is Samsung's own cloud service. If you have turned on automatic backup before, the contact data is likely to be stored in the cloud.
- In the Samsung Cloud interface, you will see the "Backup and restore" option, click "Restore data".
The system will ask you to choose what to restore, select "Contacts".
After selecting, click "Restore". The system will start downloading your previously backed up contact data from the cloud. This process may take several minutes, depending on the amount of data you backed up.
After the restoration is complete, open your Contacts app and check if the lost contacts have returned. If the backup is up to date, the deleted contacts should be able to be recovered
