What is the best PDF to Word Doc converter with OCR for Windows 10?
Last week, just like you, I was looking for the best PDF to Word converter for scanning documents. I eventually found Airpic PDF, which is worth trying because it supports OCR, can convert PDFs into editable Word files, and performs all processing locally while preserving the original formatting as much as possible.
How to Use the Best PDF to Word Converter
Step 1: Download the PDF version from the software's official website and install it on Windows 10.
Step 2: Launch the application and open the scanned PDF file you want to convert.
Step 3: Click "OCR" to recognize the text on the scanned pages. You can process the entire document or select specific pages.
Step 4: Once OCR is complete, click "Exportar" (Export) and select the Word (.docx) format.
Step 5: select the destination folder, save the document, and then open it in Microsoft Word to check the results.
I wouldn't say there's any tool that can serve as a one-size-fits-all PDF-to-Word converter, especially when OCR is involved. Complex tables, multi-column layouts, and low-resolution scans may still require manual corrections.
However, before paying for another converter, I think this one is worth a try.
