Honestly, if you just want something quick and clear without messing with a bunch of settings, Topaz Gigapixel AI is hands down one of the best AI image upscaler apps out there. It’s pretty much “drop your photo → choose how big → click start.” Boom, done.
If you prefer a free option, try Upscayl — it’s open-source and runs right from your desktop. You can even use it from the command line like this:
