What does it mean by the premium version of Word?
This message pops up from time to time. I am currently using 2017 Professional.
- This version is a one-time purchase, and while it includes many robust features, it does not receive the same level of updates and does not include certain premium features that Microsoft adds to the subscription versions.
Sometimes, Microsoft may prompt existing users to try out new features or a trial of the premium subscription. This is part of their marketing strategy to encourage users to switch to the subscription model.
