What are the risks of changing the permissions on the WindowsApps folder to your own account?
If I manually modify the permissions for the C:\Program Files\WindowsApps folder to grant ownership or full control to the current user, what risks to system security or stability might this pose?

Changing permissions on the WindowsApps folder can weaken Windows security and may cause Microsoft Store apps or other packaged applications to malfunction. Granting your account Full Control also increases the risk that malware running under your user account could modify trusted app files.
In some cases, altered permissions can interfere with app updates, installation, or repair operations. While the damage is often recoverable, restoring the original permission structure can be difficult if extensive changes were made.
