Volume control

On the task bar along the bottom of my screen, there is a volume control icon for the speakers. For some reason it has stopped responding (both with left and right click).  The only way that I can no...

    Back to normal. I went to Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Sound/Sounds/Show Toolbar Band.

    Toolbar icon is working again to control volume.

Please run Playing Audio troubleshooter from Control Panel > Troubleshooting > View all. See if it helps you.
