I would like to update the firmware of my Samsung 870 Evo 1TB SSD. And I would like to do it without Samsung Magician if possible.

Under: Firmware > and by scrolling down "Samsung storage firmware"

Usually, the ISO contains either a bootable environment or firmware files. If there's no .exe file, it might be a bootable ISO designed to run a firmware update outside of Windows.

Open the mounted ISO file, which should contain a folder named "update" or "firmware". Inside this folder, you'll find the firmware update utility, which is a Linux-based application. You can run it by double-clicking the file named "update" or "firmware". If you're on Windows, you might need to use the "run as administrator" option to launch the utility.

Since you mentioned there's no .exe file, the ISO likely contains a bootable firmware update utility that runs directly when you boot from it.
