Update KB5079473 (26200.8037) - forced reformat issues

Good afternoon,

I installed the latest Windows Update and it first forced my system into a series of system reboots -- installed update, reboot, then after reboot in a few minutes I am forced to reboot again. After ten times it did this, I went ahead and reformatted my system.

I had to disable Secure Boot before I could install Windows and now every time I go back into my BIOS and attempt to go back to the Key Management screen it hard locks in the BIOS.

As of now, Secure Boot is DISABLED and I'm trying to get back to a bootable desktop.

The current BIOS was just update today for my mobo, but it's another BETA bios and I'm unsure if I should attempt it -- I really don't want to completely brick my system as I cannot afford to get a new mobo.

After getting back to the desktop I am unable to access my NAS -- I can see it in Networking and can access the Web interface, but unable to map any drives

I'm curious if anyone has any ideas what happened and what I can do to fix this.

Thank you very much for your assistance......

Corrupted update, driver conflicts, or BIOS incompatibility.

Repeated forced reboots after updates can indicate issues with the update process, BIOS compatibility, or hardware conflicts.
