"Unexpected 'profile.tmp' File Appearing on Desktop – Seeking Explanation"

This problem has been persistent for a long time now. Each time I use my laptop with my desktop, there's always a profile.tmp file that appears. I'm not sure why this happens or what causes it, but after some investigation, it seems Valorant is the likely culprit. I'm not certain about the reason or the solution, but is there anything I can do to address this issue? I hesitate to delete the file because a) it rarely solves the problem, and b) I'm worried it might trigger Valorant crashes, as it has in the past. I plan to reach out to Riot support, but I'm unsure about what steps to take.

Additionally, does anyone know how I can determine the exact source of this file? I've been speculating that it's Riot without conducting a thorough check. Thank you in advance for your help!

Valorant, like many online games, may create temp files during updates, configuration changes, or crashes. The "profile.tmp" file might be part of its internal process.
