Unable to use new USB devices

Hello. Today I am having a weird problem where when I unplug a USB device, and plug it back in, the computer will no longer recognize it, forcing me to reboot to temporary fix this problem, until it happens again.

I just ran "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" and the command completed, rebooted, and that did not fix the problem.

The OS I am using is: Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC (x64) Build 19044.5965 (21H2)

If there is anything else you need, I would be more than happy to provide it. Thank you.

It sounds like you're experiencing a USB recognition issue that persists even after running DISM. This kind of problem can be caused by driver issues, USB port problems, or system configuration issues, especially on specialized OS like Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC.

Also, visit your motherboard or system manufacturer’s website for the latest chipset and USB controller drivers, especially since you’re on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC.

Since you're on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC, some standard troubleshooting tools or updates might be limited compared to regular Windows 10. If possible, test with different USB devices to see if the issue is device-specific or system-wide.
