Timeline files open in the download folder

Hello,

when I browse timeline and open an office document previously used, for example a word file, it opens through my internet browser like if it was downloaded and is located in the download folder instead of its original folder. That's not the original file, it's a copy.

That make the timeline application useless.

For other files like PDF, it opens the original file.

Can you advise and/or help ?

    Please set the default program/app for those files types and see if that helps:

      KapilArya Thanks for your feedback, this is not the problem, the default application are OK, the problem is that it all my file are in Onedrive, when I open from Timeline, it download the file in the download folder before opening it. It does not open the local file nor the original file saved in Onedrive.

      I hope I'm clear enough in the description of the problem, that complicated to explain.
