"The specified user does not have a valid profile" error on apps downloaded from Microsoft Store
I have been getting this error for a while now and am not able to open any windows app. This error appeared out of no where and is affecting every windows app with no solution. I can't even move the windowsapp folder due to added permissions so any help will be appreciated.

- AlmaiwIron ContributorIf the problem is still unresolved, it is necessary to contact Microsoft staff or technical staff.
- KingstonsCopper ContributorSometimes, a simple restart can resolve various issues. This is the quickest initial step.
- AhmedSHMKBrass ContributorAny Idea what the root cause of this could be? it randomly happens in both Win 10 and Win 11, Usually resolved by Windows updates, Sometimes comes back.
- AhmedSHMKBrass Contributor-Granting permission on WindowsApp folder sometimes enables the users to user the apps after restart.
-AD password reset in case it was previously changed in cloud/third party IDP.
-Simple windows update sometimes fixes the issue(in case you have pending updates).
However, Issue might come back in case root cause is not addressed

Hi Raman Deep,
I'm seeing the same issue and did get one reply to my post about this earlier this year. It's a workaround at best and I'm still hoping for a fix from Microsoft to address this, but in the meantime, this may be helpful.
Hope that helps!
