The Single System File That Corrupts on a Loop on Windows 10
One critical system file (like notepad.exe or calc.exe) corrupts, you run sfc /scannow and it says it fixed it, but the file corrupts again within minutes. The root cause? A failing hard drive sector that Windows keeps trying to rewrite to, but the sector keeps remapping itself. The fix involves manually relocating the file using a third-party disk editor—or simply replacing the entire drive.
