The right way to upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10 in 2025
The official free upgrade offer from Microsoft has ended, but I successfully used Win7UpgradeMate to upgrade my old Windows 7 PC and kept all my files.

The official free upgrade program from Microsoft has ended and is no longer available.
For a secure and supported method, your best option is to perform a clean installation of Windows 10 using wondeISO tool. Your Windows 7 product key should still activate it.
Important steps:
Back up all your data first.
- Download the Media Creation Tool directly from Microsoft.
- Create installation media (USB drive) and boot from it.
- Install Windows 10 and enter your Windows 7 key when prompted.
you wrong bud,,if you activated 7 with a 10 key before 2023 you never need the key again, its auto, windows 7 key on longer works if the computer never was previously activated with windows 10 , they shut the server off in 2023,, so if the computer had 10 on it before it will automatically activate once you connect to the internet ,, its called a lifetime digital licence and it records your motherboards serial number on their site if you had of activated 10 with a windows 7 key before they shut it down in 2023,,
