The play button in the built-in Windows 10 Media Player is not working
Hello, I recently encountered an issue where clicking the play button in the system's built-in Media Player does not respond at all, rendering it unusable. How can I resolve this?

Resetting the app clears its cache and data without uninstalling it. This often fixes odd behavior.
Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
Find either Movies & TV or Windows Media Player in the list.
Click on it and select Advanced options.
Click the Reset button. This will clear the app's data, so you may lose your playback history, but it won't affect your media files.
