"The Mysterious Disappearing Disk Space" Incident

This refers to the recently reported CapabilityAccessManager.db-wal file abnormal bloat issue. This file is responsible for logging app access to privacy features like your camera, microphone, and location. Under normal conditions, it’s only a few megabytes in size. However, due to a bug in Windows 10, the file fails to properly "finalize" its write-ahead log, causing it to grow indefinitely. In some reported cases, this single file consumed over 500 GB of disk space.
