The auto-hide taskbar feature in Windows 10 offers a terrible user experience
The auto-hide taskbar often gets stuck and won’t retract. Since buttons or input fields on many websites are positioned exactly where the taskbar pops up, this severely hinders usability. Plus, the animation frame rate for auto-hiding is very low.
Having to restart File Explorer every time I encounter a bug with such a critical feature is unbearable. I hope Microsoft will take this issue seriously and fix it.

Hi Xollom, auto-hide taskbar problems are usually tied to an app demanding attention, a notification area icon, or Explorer not refreshing properly. A quick workaround is to restart Windows Explorer from Task Manager, but the better fix is to check which tray app or background app keeps waking the taskbar. Disable unnecessary notification icons, turn off flashing taskbar notifications where possible, and make sure display scaling is not causing the bottom edge to mis-detect. It is not perfect, but those steps usually reduce the taskbar getting stuck.
