The Action Center Brightness Slider Disappears on Windows 10
the brightness slider in the Action Center disappears only when Battery Saver is enabled and an external monitor is connected on my Windows 10 device. In this specific scenario, I cannot adjust brightness via the Action Center, which is inconvenient, especially when trying to conserve battery life or manage multiple displays. However, when Battery Saver is turned off or no external monitor is connected, the brightness slider reappears and works normally.

Hi Ambrosenb, Windows usually controls brightness only for the built-in display, and external monitors can make that slider behave oddly depending on the graphics driver. I’d update the display driver, check Device Manager for the internal panel under Monitors, and test Win+Ctrl+Shift+B to reset the graphics stack. If the slider only disappears with Battery Saver plus an external display, it may be a driver/power-state bug.
