Task Scheduler service is not available. Network condition issue.
I can't find a general Windows OS forum so I'm posting this here. The issue is probably not of great concern to server users but it is to non-server users who migrate from network to network. The issue is that Windows 10 broke the Task Scheduler's "Start only if the following network connection is available" option and it is still not fixed in the Creator's update.
See this thread for a comprehensive discussion: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-other_settings/task-scheduler-service-is-not-available-network/bc416b46-c247-4850-8ae6-9168ab997e20
This is a critical feature to some users, it continues to be exposed in the user interface, it used to work in earlier releases, and the resulting messaging is cryptic. This, in my opinion, qualifies it as a high priority issue that needs to be addressed.
