System clock drifting by hours or days rapidly
My Windows 10 system clock is going completely haywire, jumping forward by hours or even days at a time without me touching anything, and it happens repeatedly throughout the day. I've already tried forcing a resync with time servers and replacing the CMOS battery, but the issue keeps coming back, so I'm wondering if there's a deeper problem with my motherboard or a background process messing with the time settings.

Review installed programs for any suspicious or unknown software that might affect system settings.

Use Task Manager or Process Explorer to identify any suspicious or unknown processes that might be affecting system settings.

Some software can do that.
