Official Method for Upgrading Windows 8.1 to Windows 10:

However, Microsoft has sometimes still allowed upgrades using the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool, especially if you've previously activated Windows 10 on your device or used the upgrade before the deadline.
Using Windows 10 Media Creation Tool: You can attempt to upgrade by downloading the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's official website.
Performing the upgrade:
- Download and run the Media Creation Tool.
- Choose Upgrade this PC now when prompted.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, choosing to keep personal files and apps when asked.
- Once the process completes, verify that Windows 10 is activated (check in Settings > Update & Security > Activation).
