Since an update, Windows Photos does three very annoying things.
DoctorCarlo1955 - Well, after spending a few hours trying to fix what seemed to be a related problem (system file error -2147219196) which prevented me from even opening Microsoft Photos, which led to the discovery that Microsoft Photos couldn't be added to Windows 10, which led to trying to access the Microsoft Store to get Windows Photo Viewer, which turned out to be impossible because I couldn't get the Microsoft Store to open, which had me on the verge of reinstalling Windows 10 altogether (which for me is no big deal as I keep all my documents, files, folders, everything on an external hard drive), I said, "Screw it," and installed Infran Viewer 64-bit. Windows is such a horrible. clunky, top-heavy mess of programming that I wish that I could take the plunge and use one of the very nice Linux operating systems. Plus I got nearly 300 views of my problem and not one reply; even though it is obvious that many other people are experiencing the same kind of problems that I was. Ifran Viewer may be third-party but it has been around for many years. It should do just fine. Thanks a lot for nothing, Microsoft.
