Screen Flickering or Display Glitches on Windows 10

My Windows 10 screen keeps flickering randomly, especially when I'm scrolling through web pages or watching videos, and sometimes the whole display glitches with strange horizontal lines or a black flash that lasts for a second before returning to normal. I've already tried updating my graphics driver, disabling hardware acceleration in my browser, and checking for Windows updates, but nothing has fixed the problem so far.

    Since you already tried driver updates and browser hardware acceleration, I’d test whether it happens in Safe Mode. If Safe Mode looks clean, it is probably a driver, startup app, or graphics setting conflict.

     

    Also try a clean reinstall of the display driver from the PC/GPU maker, check the refresh rate in Display settings, and if this is an external monitor, test a different cable/port. Flicker while scrolling or watching video often comes back to graphics driver, cable, refresh rate, or the panel itself.
