Reset windows 10 account password without laptop
How do I reset the password for my account on my windows 10 laptop when I only have access to recovery mode when booting up. Otherwise it has a black screen with a circle that spins indefinitely.

If you can't identify your username, the net user command will list all accounts. If the command doesn't work, you might need to enable the built-in Administrator account first, but the above method is usually sufficient for resetting your password.
Create a Windows installation USB drive, boot from the USB drive, and use the Command Prompt to replace system files and reset the password.
