Registry changes revert back after restart
I am trying to make some changes in registry of my new windows 10 device. and I am able to do it. However, If I restart my device, All the changes revert back to the default values. I tried to contacting windows 10 customer care. However, they are reluctant to help. Did anyone have the same issue? How to solve this issue?

I am also facing the same issue. I have applied some security policies. and trying to block USB storage device by changing the Start value 4 from 3 (Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR). But after reopening the registry editor the revert the changed value to 3 (default). What will be the solution for that?
- SalmanAhmedIron ContributorTry to run regedit.exe in elevated mode (Run as Admin), I hope it will work.

SalmanAhmed you can check if any local policies are enabled, which are reverting the registry changes.
- SalmanAhmedIron ContributorYou're correct, if the policies are applied, they may prevent the registry changes.
