Immediately downgrade ios 26 to 18. Often, this is misleading because downgrading is now quite difficult. However, I have a little trick that allows your iPhone to remain usable throughout the entire downgrade process.
1.Reduce Liquid Glass Stress
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size
- Turn ON Reduce Transparency
- This replaces translucent menus with solid backgrounds and reduces processor load.
2.Fix Laggy Animations
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Motion
- Turn ON Reduce Motion
- This disables heavy animations that cause slowdowns.
3.The Clean Slate
- Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset
- Tap Reset All Settings
- This will not delete photos or data, but fixes system glitches that cause battery drain and lag.
These are merely temporary performance improvements. The only permanent solution is to downgrade ios 26 to 18 via computer using certain third-party software.
