Please recommend a good and easy Windows 10 backup software for my PC?
A differential backup is a type of backup method that saves all the data that has changed since the last full backup. Unlike an incremental backup, which only stores the data that changed since the last backup (whether it was full or incremental), a differential backup always stores changes made since the most recent full backup. This results in a larger backup file than incremental backups but simplifies the restoration process. How differential backup works:
First Backup (Full): The process begins with a full backup that contains all selected files and data.
Subsequent Differential Backups: Each differential backup after the full backup saves the changes made since that initial full backup, regardless of how many differential backups have been made in between.
In fact, there are many free Windows 10 backup software with differential backup features. The size of differential backups grows over time as more changes accumulate. However, it simplifies restoration since only the latest differential backup and the initial full backup are required to restore all data.
