Photo tray
I installed window update and have problems with my Officejet 8040 printer.
I have uninstalled printer and installed again, did all the suggested clean up. My problem is that I can not printer in
color and the properties shows that the photo tray was not installed. See attached photos:
Printer had no problems before update. I need an answer please.

Attach or provide detailed photos of the properties dialog showing the "photo tray not installed" message. Consider contacting HP support directly—they might have specific updates or patches for Windows 11 compatibility issues.
Since the issue is specifically with recognizing the photo tray, and the properties show it’s not installed, it might be a driver or firmware recognition problem that a fresh driver install or firmware update could fix.
