52553I'm currently running into this same issue. The other day I ran disk cleanup and deleted my thumbnail cache. Ever since then, my PC hasn't been generating thumbnails for HEVC videos. I tried uninstalling the HEVC Video Extensions app and reinstalling, but it didn't help. I'm a bit OCD, so it's a problem. Let me know if you have any luck getting it solved.
- I haven't found a fix yet sadly, I think the app had an update on the 14th that broke it, different drivers, and fresh installing windows didn't help. it's probably not that big of an issue for other people so idk how soon it'll get fixed, but it's really annoying lol
