New Windows PC now or in 1 year?

Hi i bought my first gaming pc in 2014 and i didn‘t change anything. I don’t know much about it. Only that it has a geforce gtx 1060 graphics card, a little bit of RAM (6 or 8 GB?) and that it can‘t run windows 11.

I am planning to buy a new pc in the next 12 month. I read a few posts about prices going up, AI being added to PCs now or in the future, new hardware being released,…

I don’t understand much so i wanted to ask: if i am just someone who wants to buy an up to date gaming pc that will also last around 5-10 years, is it better to buy now or to wait anonther year?

My biggest fears are hardware not being available or too expensive because of AI, but also buying a pc now that won‘t get any updates or is too outdated in 1-2 years because major hardware change (AI,…). I think something like that happened to some iphone users with pre AI models.
