New to Windows 10
How do you do following:
-Find the latest version Os Build number on your laptop
knowing what features have been added in updates
-Actually understanding the process.
Have gone in updates section but so far had loads of updates in the background. Coming from Windows phone a few years ago I guess the Cumulative update is the one to look out for.

Windows regularly checks for updates from Microsoft servers.
