Networking

I have 2- pc's and 1- laptop that have been networked together for several years, however recently the network connections, i.e. mapped drives, have been disconnected. Any attempt to reconnect them has been thwarted by NETWORK CREDENTIALS asking for password and claiming that the username and password are incorrect. I have edited Credential manager on all machines and also turned off passwords in network and sharing centre, but the password dialog box appears every time regardless. Is there a way to disable this feature other than in network and sharing, or has anyone any advice to overcome this problem?.

This is a common issue when Windows network credentials get out of sync or corrupted, especially after updates or network changes. Since you've already tried editing Credential Manager and disabling passwords in Network & Sharing Center.

Thanks for the reply, but what is the solution?
