Network Connections
Is it necessary to have so many network connections? I seem to have way too many and I am wondering if it is affecting my performance. Would love some input from any networking experts. Thank you.
- Hi,
the network adapters that you are seeing are the result of multiple things.
1) Hyper-V and the virtual network adapters it has
2) your VPN software (Cisco)
3) your bluetooth adapter
4) your WiFi adapter
5) a loopback adapter that is created by Npcap software
6) your Ethernet port
they shouldn't affect performance. Hyper-V ones aren't always used, only when using Hyper-V VM.
Bluetooth and Ethernet are disconnected,
Cisco is disabled
overall nothing to worry about, Windows knows how to manage them properly 🙂
