Hi
How i can logon the this as local service and what would be the password for it.
- Saankara_30Sep 15, 2022Copper ContributorHi
I has been ried this workaround for some machine and some machine still showing error.
may i know why like this. - Cabinets22Sep 13, 2022Copper Contributor
Saankara_30 For me it is C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Temp . It would depend on what account the Net.Tcp Port Sharing Service is using. For me it is the "LocalService" account.
We used process monitor to troubleshoot the issue. You may want to try the following steps to see if it provides any additional detail on why the service will not start: https://nmorais.wordpress.com/2011/11/15/net-tcp-port-sharing-service-fails-to-start/

Saankara_30 We have been fighting with this issue since the August 2022 Windows Updates were installed. The only temporary workaround we have discovered is to give "Everyone" permissions to the %Windir%\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Temp folder.
