Check the SD card's hidden trash folder. When you delete files from an external drive (like an SD memory card) while it's connected to your Mac, they don't go to your Mac's main Trash bin; they go to a hidden .Trashes folder on the SD card itself.
By doing this, you don't need any sd card data recovery software for mac. They are quite expensive as far as I know.
Steps for Mac SD memory card recovery:
- Connect the SD card to your Mac.
- Open the SD card's root folder in Finder.
- Press the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + . (dot) to show hidden files.
- Look for a folder named .Trashes or .Trash.
- Open it, find your deleted files, right-click them, and select Put Back (or just drag them to a safe location on your Mac's internal drive).
- Press Command + Shift + . (dot) again to hide the system files.
