My Windows sometimes require credentials when accessing another computer on my home network
My Windows PC keeps asking for login credentials when I try to connect to other computers on my local network, even though these devices are all in the same homegroup and I have never set up password-protected sharing. The credential requests are inconsistent and I cannot determine what triggers them or how to stop them permanently.

Can you confirm, if this system is part of network?
If yes, the Group Policy "Always wait for the network at computer startup and login" needs to be checked. It can be located at Computer Configuration > Administrative templates > System > Logon.
Make sure you set it Disabled/not Configured.
