My 15-year-old PC runs Windows 10 just fine, thanks

Friend told me installing Windows 10 on a 15-year-old PC was a waste of time. Disabled every unnecessary service, swapped icons to Windows 2000 style, renamed a few shortcuts—and honestly? It's not just fast, it's actually a joy to use if you're into retro vibes.

Runs everything I need without breaking a sweat—older games maxed out, everyday tasks smooth. Sticking with my trusty 22" Dell LCD too, zero eye strain even after hours.

Point is, you don't need to drop thousands on a new PC to meet your daily needs. Saved up for an upgrade ages ago—just never actually felt the need to pull the trigger.

It also shows that the "minimum requirements" for many daily tasks are often overblown. A well-maintained, deliberately optimized system will easily outpace a bloated new one on a 15-year-old PC for everyday use. For gaming, it's the perfect machine for that vast library of classic titles from that era.
