Microphone array failing only during video calls

My microphone array works fine in general but fails only during video calls on Windows 10, making it impossible to communicate effectively. The microphone is not recognized or picks up no sound specifically during video conferencing applications, even though it functions properly in other scenarios. I need help troubleshooting this issue to restore microphone functionality during video calls.

    Hi, since the mic works outside calls, I’d check app permissions and app-specific device selection first. Go to Windows privacy microphone settings, confirm desktop apps can access the mic, then check the selected input device inside Teams/Zoom/browser. Also try disabling audio enhancements and exclusive mode under the microphone properties. If it only fails in browser calls, clear the site permission and re-allow microphone access.
