Mail App - Custom Rule - New Email not Show notifiction

Hi Everyone,

 

I have setup the mail app to show me all notifications though new emails that are from sender that are setup to a rule to move to a custom folder, I am not notified of these new emails, is this a bug?

    Within the email application's settings, examine the rules options to ensure that custom rules are not marking messages as read or archiving them, thereby preventing the triggering of new message notifications.
