Look for the best Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade tool

My office has a several PCs and laptops running Windows 10 and the management team decides to give a try on Windows 11. The problem is that some of them are pretty old devices bought a couple of year...

Modify the registry and no Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade tool required!

Step 1: Back up your PC first, since this is an unsupported configuration and carries some risk.

Step 2: Download a Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft if you don't already have one.

Step 3: Open Registry Editor. Click Search on the Taskbar, type "regedit," and open it as administrator.

Step 4: Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup

Step 5: Create a new DWORD (32-bit) value named AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU if it doesn't already exist, and set its value to 1.

Step 6: Close Registry Editor and restart your PC.

Step 7: Mount the Windows 11 ISO (right-click it and select Mount), then run setup.exe from the mounted drive.

Step 8: Proceed through Windows Setup as normal — it should now let you continue past the "this PC doesn't meet requirements" block and perform an in-place upgrade, keeping your files and apps.
