Laptop Setup- Win 11- MS Account- Can it be Removed?
I'm seeking assistance regarding my laptop setup, which is running Windows 11 and currently linked to a Microsoft account. I would like to know if it’s possible to remove the Microsoft account from my laptop and switch to a local account instead. I'm concerned about the implications of this change, especially regarding data access, synchronization, and any potential impact on the functionality of my applications.

- Click on the "Start" button and select "Settings".
- In the Settings window, click on "Accounts".
- In the Accounts section, select "Your accounts".
- Here, you should see a list of all the Microsoft accounts linked to your device. Find the account you want to remove and click on it.
- Click on "Manage" and then "Remove this account from this device".
Yes, if you like, you can switch to local account using this guide:

However, note that if you switch to local account, you won't be able to sync personalization settings, themes, and files across your multiple devices.
