Keyboard Shortcuts (like control C or V) have quit Working

For years I always used keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste.  Out of the blue they quit working on my Ideapad.  Nothing I have tried has helped to restore them.  I don't know if this is an issue with Lenovo or with Windows 10?  Perhaps some Windows Update?  My driver is up to date.  I recently reinstalled Windows on this machine.  I don't know what else to try to fix  this issue.  All the keys on the keyboard seem to work perfectly.

    It sounds like your keyboard shortcuts for copy (Ctrl + C) and paste (Ctrl + V) have suddenly stopped working on your Lenovo Ideapad, even though the keys themselves are functioning properly.
