- RM_MaranCopper ContributorWill we be able to download Windows 11 on the 24th of June? Windows 11 leaks seem an improvement.
- ShashankDahatIron ContributorNo Won't Be Able To Download Windows 11 But It Actually Will Be Announced And I Think Will Be Available For Beta Testing Because It's Still Under Development.
We Will Get Windows 11 During The Fall.

Now I Have Downloaded The ISO for testing!
Out of 9 sites I checked,
3 Didn't Respond/Showed An Error
4 Contained Malwares
And 1 Actually Got Downloaded.
I almost had my PC attacked, Thanks to windows defender for giving me an alert 😉

ShashankDahatI agree with a lot of the replies that anytime you download something "leaked" you need to take it with a grain of salt. And consider the chances of it being hacked software that could potentially contain viruses, or malware or spyware. Like a lot of others, I was tempted to download a copy from one of my trusted download places. And did. Although it's unofficial and leak, I do not feel it is fake, hacked, full of viruses, malware, spyware.
I did clean installs on two desktops I had sitting in my closet to test and see the new features. One was a PC I built myself. The other was a prebuilt gaming PC from Asus. On the pre-built pc it automatically detected the product key embedded in the bios and installed the appropriate version of windows 11 based on that. On the one I built I used the product key associated with my Microsoft account and again it installed the appropriate version based on that key.
On both PC's I did 6 scans on each pc using Kaspersky, Norton, Mcafee. I did a full scan, scanning EVERYTHING with each program installed within windows. I then created the related bootable USB drives for each one, booted, scanned everything again. So that's 12 scans total between the two computers. Now, if it's a hacked copy full of virus, malware and spyware, I find it extremely hard to believe that 1 of the 3 major programs didn't find at least something. Especially when you are isolating the os and doing a scan from a bootable scan from the program's USB drive.
On the PC I built, Windows update installed all of the drivers. I did not have use any third party installer files from the pc part manufacturers to get drivers loaded. Windows update took care of all the generic microsoft drivers.
On the Asus Gaming pc, Windows update took care of everything except of a couple Asus specific drivers. Which was easy enough to fix by running the Asus installers.
Now the Asus pc I had at one time purchased the Windows 10 Pro for Workstations through the microsoft store. So I couldn't upgrade that on to Pro for Workstations on a clean install. Which to me makes logical and perfect sense. Windows 11 isn't officially released. So of course the windows store is going to be the Windows 10 Windows store, not the Windows 11 one.
Now, I can't speak for every site out there that has the "Leaked" ISO on it. And yes, I agree that someone "Could" hack. Hence like everyone else's points, if you do it, do it at your own risk... And make sure you really do trust the place you are downloading it from. Don't just be a trigger happy eager beaver trying to stay ahead of the game. But the amount of time it would take to alter an entire closed source ISO of an operating system to riddle it with viruses, malware, spyware would be extensive. Especially for a small group of people. Given that the leak happened roughly a week before all of the indications Microsoft is giving in regards to an official release of Windows 11, it seems more likely this was a purposeful leak to generate hype, buzz and talk.
It seems more likely this was a leak of the DEV channel release than a hacked version. So for anyone that does download it and install it... Expect there to be bugs and expect things not to work appropriately or to their full PC potential.

Thank you!
For me, such a system is useless, and scanning without new threat definitions is ridiculous!
They decide the highest permissions - which the supplier obtained during the installation and this is the most dangerous!

Deletedso easy for us that know sory about replying to this but as things have shownthat windows 11 can be installed direct and I was the first to do it I even sorted out the dll that allows updates to
pity you lot can't see further than you nose
- B3nntBulCopper ContributorWhile I don’t know if they will really call it “Windows 11”, personally just scrapping the whole number system out for just “Windows” would be nice at this point, the changes they’re making seem to be happening to some degree. The dev preview for W10 already has the new file icons, which are now colorful and all. As well as some new icons for your Task Manager and Msi installers. The taskbar has not been altered as far as I know, and was not mentioned in the dev release builds on the Insiders official site.

- ShashankDahatIron ContributorYes, It Is The Same Windows 11 But I Actually Recommend To Uninstall It Because At The Current Time At Has Thousands Of Bugs, Security Holes, May Crash Repeatedly. There Are Also Some Undone Settings And Registries. If You Don't Have Any Personal Files There Then There Is No Problem But I Still Think You Should Uninstall It .

- Mythik_JOfficialCopper ContributorHonestly, I don't think it's real. We'll have to wait & see the news (if any news pops up in the first place), and to me it just looks like Windows 10 but with some different colors, looking at some "screenshots" & "footage". Still, it's a pretty interesting topic. Microsoft will probably clear that question one day... maybe on the 24th of June? We'll have to wait & see, folks!

Many Of The YouTubers Couldn't Install It on bare hardware even linus tech tips which means the installer is actually locked and that could be because of any malware. Also As said microsoft already had learnt much from Windows 8, Windows RT, Windows Vista And WIndows 10 in S....
They Surely won't make this mistake again!!
The Start Menu is Also the same Windows 10x..
So Basically The ISO Install is just Windows10X's with name changes, installer changes and a logo created in paint!!
Surprising point is that why MS isn't blocking all the ISO download links? Maybe to created some buzz on internet which already is created in massive amounts of loads!
But What About this??THank You Have a great day
- svkad16Copper Contributor
ShashankDahat I don't know where are you getting this info that it can't be installed on bare metal. People have installed that on their actual hardware and have posted screenshots on r/windows and r/windows10. And those who couldn't, it was because it required TPM 2.0. Michael MD has a nice video showing how he did that, even on unsupported hardware.

Also, this iso was not fake as it showed correct info on running winver and also had updates pending as "Windows 10 Next". Microsoft even acknowledged the leak in their twitter.
The leak is just to make some hype for 24th.

Like everyone said as of now which I am writing this post there is no Windows 11.
There is an event on 24 June from the Windows team and there would be interesting topics but we are not sure what are they.
However, in case Microsoft would announce anything, it will be shared in the official Microsoft websites.
I should share a concern that I am observing installation and ISO files with the name of Windows 11 and they are FAKE and containing malwares. They are just a Windows 10 with some modification and include malware therefore NEVER download or install them and only download everything from the official Microsoft website when they are available.
- Damian_99Copper ContributorHow will the leaked iso of windows 11 have malware? If it comes with Windows Defender pre-installed
- Reza_AmeriSilver ContributorGood question, it is not only for this leaked version but what I am going to mention is applicable for any other pirate version of Windows. They modify the system and add malware and they could edit it in a way so Windows Defender ignore the malware or some sort of add it to the exception as the hidden. The genuine version of Windows has been fully checked and verified by Microsoft and privacy authorities of countries would check it too. However, for the fake and unofficial version no one bear responsibilities and I even saw a pirate version of Windows 10 when fully updated version of the Windows Defender failed to detect a well known malware which is being detected by a genuine version. Sometimes, they harm the core malware engine so even if you install other Anti-Malware, it won't work. The only way to detect such a malware is using offline scanner and also doing some manual checking on the system.
- EsconisCopper Contributor
Reza_Ameri It's definitely real. If it was faked, then they did a hella good job of it. But all the hints suggest that it is true. The new logo is how Microsoft would do it, the new icons are what they teased us, with Windows 10X features. Support for Win10 itself is dropping in 2025. So to assume this is all bullshit, while may be natural, is idiotic. We only have 2 days to wait anyway, and then our suspicions will become clear. Microsoft 100% designed this.

Made That Same Logo
Could Anyone Rate It??
- Ayush_TechCopper ContributorI'm soory to say that you are wrong . Windows 11 is launching on 24 june and the iso you will be getting from websites are real co_release of windows 11 from DEV channel . So you can download it securely and also use. There are no malwares at all..............So chill and use.GOODBYE WINDOWS 10...

Ayush_Tech We Got Some new SAD news https://www.republicworld.com/technology-news/apps/is-windows-11-leaked-version-legit-microsoft-might-have-confirmed-the-leak.html
I Personally Don't Like Windows 11's Tab-friendly start button and it's minimum system requirements, but still it is a developer unreleased ISO file. We Really love the current windows 10 interface and the next 21H2 interface.
And I Am Also Pretty Sure Many Of the People here also wouldn't like the new windows 11 Because Of it's interface.
It's Really Sad To See Windows 10 My First Computer OS being left out !!
Hello ShashankDahat,
Microsoft has not officially confirmed Windows 11 release or any related information yet. Anything on Windows 11 can only be said after official June 24th event. It is recommended that you don't try leaked build/ISO and don't believe on its rumoured information, until it is confirmed by Microsoft. Wait for 24th June, you'll get all your answers then

P.S. The leaked build may contain malware and viruses which may harm your system.
- ShashankDahatIron ContributorActually I am not into that testing beta and ISO file downloads at all!! I want to know are we saying goodbye to windows 10 or it's just the sun valley update and the windows 11 ISO is just a fake ISO!
You Know I finally updated my PC to windows 10 after so many hardware upgrades and then microsoft announces windows 11.
Curiosity Is What everyone has about windows 11/sun valley windows 10.

Hello
Thank you very much that you said about scammers who under the pretext of Windows11 can install us whatever they want!
Please do not download ISO from uncertain places!
Download itself - does not provide the possibility of installation without the correct installation key!
