What I really want to know is if this upgrade will be free to current W10,8, and 7 users with an official license key for those OS'. I was glad to get one when upgrading from 8, so I'm hoping they'll do the same for 11.

Only the official announcement later this week would indicate who would get the upgrade, and at what price - if any. But I would be very surprised that they would charge for Win 11 for existing Win 10 users. If I were to guess, I'd say they would upgrade Win 10 to Win 11 free for a limited time - just like what they did for Win 7/8 -> Win 10.
