Is Windows 10 better than Windows 11?

Honestly, Windows 11 isn’t clearly better than Windows 10. It’s just different.
If Windows 10 is working well for you, there’s no strong reason to rush the upgrade. Day-to-day stuff feels mostly the same — browsing, work apps, gaming. The biggest change in Windows 11 is the look, and whether that’s “better” really comes down to personal taste. Some people like the cleaner design, others miss how much control they had before.
Security gets talked about a lot with Windows 11, but for most normal users, Windows 10 with regular updates is already fine.
My general advice to friends is:
- If you’re on an older or perfectly stable setup, stick with Windows 10.
- If you’ve got newer hardware and plan to keep it for years, Windows 11 is okay.
Windows 10 is supported until 2025, so upgrading right now is optional, not urgent.
