Is there a way to setup Phone Link so it can answer calls on demand but not every call?

I had to turn off "Allow this app to make and manage calls from my mobile device" in order to stop it from answering calls automatically. When it was doing that I could be in another room/office and unable to answer a call on my phone because Phone Link had picked up. My incoming callers were confused and I had to call each of them back or finish the call by going to the computer and using Phone Link.

Is there a way to allow Phone Link to take a call on request but not every call? Phone is currently Pixel 7a on Android 13
