Is it possible to permanently disable the Num Lock key on the numeric keypad?

Due to my keyboard layout, I often accidentally press the Num Lock key while typing, causing the cursor to jump to random locations, which severely affects my typing experience. I’d like to permanently disable the Num Lock key so it doesn’t function, to prevent accidental presses.
