Installing Windows 10 ethernet connection

Good evening

Sorry to ask a philistine question, I'm going to install Windows 10 (purchased on a USB key) on a new config based on X670-E.

I just connected the machine via ethernet to have internet when installing Windows.

I notice that I have a gigabit green LED on the PC, however I have an orange LED on the router to which the ethernet socket (located near the box in another room) is connected.

Is this normal? Related to the fact that Windows is not yet installed on the machine?

Often signals link activity or speed downgrade (such as 100 Mbps instead of 1 Gbps). Some devices also use different colors to indicate connection status or activity.

Usually indicates a gigabit connection with some activity or a good link. The fact that it's green suggests your PC recognizes the connection and is negotiating at gigabit speeds.
