In Windows 10, an icon keeps popping up
Windows 10 is asking me to grant permission. Even though I’m not using any apps that require this permission and I’m not on a call, the prompt keeps popping up and disappearing. What’s causing this? How can I permanently disable this prompt?

Windows 10 has strict privacy controls that require an app to ask for your permission before it can use your microphone or camera . Even if you aren't actively using an app, a program running in the background might be trying to "wake up" your mic, causing the prompt to flash briefly before it fails or gives up.
