To convert PDF to PowerPoing on your Windows PC. Libre Office Impress (their version of PowerPoint) has a built-in PDF import filter. You can open a PDF in Impress and save it as a .pptx file. A quick test on a 50-page PDF with a decent mix of text and graphics took about 12 seconds.

If you want to give it a shot, it's pretty simple:

1. Open Libre Office Impress.

2. Go to File -> Open and select your PDF file.

3. A dialog box might pop up asking which filter to use. Make sure you select "PDF - Portable Document Format (Impress)" to force it to open as a presentation.

4. Once it opens (it might take a sec), just go to File -> Save As and choose your PowerPoint format (. pptx or . ppt).

But, if your PDF is packed with fancy layouts, complex equations, or you know you're going to want to do a lot of editing afterward, it might be more frustrating than it's worth. In that case, you might be better off looking at a dedicated often tool  to convert PDF to PowerPoing that's built to handle that complexity.
